Description: This is my latest page - see I said I am finally getting somewhere. Again a basic page however I am trying to do the pages with the techniques I am learning in each e class. This time it was linking the photo and frame and also the use of the magic wand tool to rid excess as in my case photo that was poking out the side of the frame. I also used elements that I learned how to un - zip. Bum I can see a booboo - I have missed with the bolding word set - however I can go back in and fix that thankfully All the elements and papers were from Scrapgirls.

Then I dragged the tag through it, and dried it with my heat-gun. I used T!ms' winged heart with Fired Brick Distress Ink, and a little red Stickles wiped over it, and backed it with a music heart. I used Rusty Pickle alphas for the question. I used T!ms Umbrella Man stamp on the back, with archival ink, more Rusty Pickle alphas, and words cut from a dictionary.

Description: I have used October Afternoon (Farmhouse) papers for this layout. I think I have met all of the criteria....A banner - there is a banner on one of the papers, but I have cut it out and have mounted every second flag on pop dots, a decorative edge - I have used a martha stewart punch on the top and bottom edge of the paper, something funky to my title - well (if you only knew what i did to the raw thickers....) these alphas have been painted (a number of times) inked (with pinecone) painted with T!m crackle paint in white and mustard seed and then using a ranger dauber paint to get just the right colour....Something recycled - i have used some doileys and also the packaging to create the bracket. The pics are of my sister (sandii - not bella's mum - my other sister)and my lil niece bella!

Description: The shiny spots come from the home made walnut glaze I made to go over the pp just to mute the colours a little. This is a very old pic of our first dog Barney. I made the flower from seam binding and misted cotton tape.

Description: This is my first Digi - I know it is very basic and I have only used a background paper,photo and frame. I did some wording and a title that I added shadowing around the frame and wording. This is a photo of the Grandies here in Qld, Olivia age 11 and Jamie age 6 it was Jamie's first day of school. Description: I used Tims' Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink, then lightly spritzed some black/silver Glimmermist over top. And I used one of Tims' stamps with black archival ink over top of that. I then inked and misted and stamped an oval of paper, and DMd it into the locket, but it went so dark you can barely see the stamping. However I really like how it looks a bit like a sapphire and also I didn't have another locket to re-do it!! [IMG]http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm278/tones65/scrapping/DSCF5733.jpg[/IMG] I used die-cuts and alpha stickers and charms to finish the front. I wanted the back to uphold the idea of something being hidden away, so I used a cut-down tag to make a kind of jewellery box [IMG]http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm278/tones65/scrapping/DSCF5735.jpg[/IMG] which has to be opened [IMG]http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm278/tones65/scrapping/DSCF5736.jpg[/IMG] to reveal the treasure within [IMG]http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm278/tones65/scrapping/DSCF5737.jpg[/IMG] Finally I popped the circle die-cuts to reinforce the FAMILY and TIME themes. TFL, girls. I loved working on this one, Marie!!

Description: I used the Kaiser Sweet Nothings range of papers, thickers (which I have used crackle paint on), lace, flowers, chip anchor, prima treasures bird house. The photo is of Thompson's Beach at Victoria Point where my Nana's ashes were scattered (and that is what the journalling is all about on the overlay). TFL!
